A weather warning for heavy rain and high winds has been issued for part of Wales on Thursday. It comes after flooding and dangerous driving conditions were reported across the country earlier this month.
The new Met Office update affects Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham and surrounding areas. Other parts of the UK are also affected, including Brighton, Manchester and Edinburgh. But most of Wales looks to be unaffected.

The yellow warning means there will be heavy rain which could lead to a small chance of flooding in homes and businesses. It may also lead to communities being temporarily cut off by floods. Spray on the road is likely to make for difficult driving conditions and some road closures are to be expected.
The warning states: "Outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, will move northwards across the Midlands, north Wales and northern England during Wednesday night, persisting through much of Thursday. 30 to 40 mm rain is likely to fall quite widely over a 24-hour period, with a small chance over 60 mm in a few places and perhaps as much as 80 mm over higher ground. This brings a chance of flooding and disruption. The rain is expected to become less widespread and more intermittent during Thursday night."
The Met Office forecast for Wales today says: "Sunny spells today, although a few showers around especially at first across southern and western areas, where they could be heavy. Towards evening cloud will thicken from the south, as wet and windy weather begins to edge in. Maximum temperature 12°C."
