Bristol is braced for a barrage of heavy rain to start next week. According to the latest Met Office outlook, the city could see 28-hours of continuous downpours.
After a chilly and unsettled weekend, the worst of the weather is set to arrive tomorrow evening (March 12). Forecasters expect rain to arrive at around 5pm before gradually getting heavier throughout the night.
The rain will then continue throughout Monday morning and the rest of the day. After heavy rain at 9pm on Monday (March 13), the downpours will eventually give way at midnight.

It comes after Bristol saw heavy snowfall this week. Despite bringing picturesque scenes to the city's parks, the white stuff brought massive disruption to Bristol Airport.
It's set to remain cold this weekend, with the Met Office predicting 'feels like' temperatures to be as low as -1C this morning (March 11). The mercury will increase slightly tomorrow with temperatures set to reach double figures in Bristol.

Today: A cloudy start for Devon and Cornwall with rain and some sleet over the moors. A cold and dry start for those further north and east. Rain will spread slowly northeastwards through the day which will become mild and breezy. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight: The cloud and rain will continue to clear northeastwards through the evening with dry conditions and clear spells following behind. Staying breezy and frost free. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Sunday: Dry with patchy cloud and sunny spells, but turning cloudier from the west through the day with rain expected across Cornwall later in the afternoon. Mild and breezy. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Some heavier rain on Monday, then turning cooler on Tuesday with showers. Further rain on Wednesday with the risk of snow. Windy with coastal gales possible but easing from midweek.
