Fans of the Met Gala were in awe over Blake Lively's big dress unveiling on this year's red carpet, with many labelling her the "Queen" of the event.
The actress unwrapped from her glorious copper gown into a majestic turquoise number shortly after she arrived at the glitzy event.
The 34-year-old took to the carpet with hubby Ryan Reynolds, 45, and put on a show - much to the delight of viewers and her beau.
The Gossip Girl star, who is a co-chair of this year's event, stunned on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art as she really made the most of the night's theme: "In America: An Anthology of Fashion and the Gilded Glamour dress code.
Her first wardrobe choice showed off a beautiful copper strapless Versace number with matching satin gloves. She styled the outfit with a pair of emerald earrings and a dainty tiara.
It was then she truly caught the eye as she unwrapped herself with the help of three team members.
The same strapless dress the burst into life with a magnificent turquoise draping.
And Deadpool star Ryan looked extremely proud of his other half as he applauded the unveil.
Fans were quick to take to social media too to express their delight at the outfit change.
One Twitter user created a collage comparing the star to the Statue of Liberty and commented: "She was insane for this #MetGala."
Another penned: "QUEEN OF THE MET GALA!"
A third wrote: "Blake F***'n Lively, Ladies, Gentlemen and Theys!!! #MetGala #MetGala2022," while a fourth gushed: "when you know exactly what is required of you... this is how you look."
And even the stateside account for TikTok got involved in the praise, writing: "Her dress is an endless scroll & I am here for it."
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Fredrik Robertsson absolutely rocked the show in an extravagant number.
He looked completely unrecognisable as he wore a prickly number and slicked his hair back.
Many fans made the same joke and labelled him a "hedgehog", while another believed he had a similar look to Grimes' look from Met Gala 2021.
