Met Gala 2023 fans were cringing when Olivia Wilde and Vogue China Editor Margaret Zhang arrived at the event wearing the same dress.
The annual star-studded event returned on Monday with celebrities dressing up to the nines in line with the Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty' theme.
Don't Worry Darling director Olivia was pictured wearing a floor-length Chloé gown - inspired by the late designer's 1983 Violin dress.
Olivia’s dress featured a high neckline, side cut-outs and a giant golden violin panel right at the front.
She styled her brown locks in loose waves and completed the look with golden cuffs.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Margaret opted for the black version of the same dress.
However, she added a modern touch with electric blue hair and swapped the gold cuffs for a simple bangle.
Margaret also added a black cape with intricate gold details and rocked rectangle-rimmed sunglasses.
Met Gala fans were in stitches witnessing the moment and took to social media to comment on the blunder.
"They're so brave for not going home immediately," one user joked while another added: "FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT."
"I thought all the outfits were approved beforehand? Someone's in trouble," one concerned fan said.
Another commented: "I'M WHEEZING!! Margaret Zhang and Olivia Wilde are wearing the same dress."
Meanwhile, Olivia arrived at the event minutes after Emily Ratajkowski, after admitting she felt "betrayed" by the model.
Emily sent the internet into a frenzy last month when she was filmed snogging Olivia's ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, just months after the actress split from the former One Direction star.
It's been reported that Olivia has not spoken to Emily since the incident and the pair avoided an awkward run-in at tonight's Met Gala.
Emily, 31, arrived at the star-studded event wearing a plunging gown designed by Tory Burch which featured dainty black ribbons.
Just minutes later, Olivia commanded attention as she stepped out wearing the vintage white dress.
