Dublin is set to shiver as Met Eireann has forecasted the return of the cold snap.
Temperatures will plummet to near-freezing with some frosty nights in store. The good news is, the rest of the week will see mostly settled conditions so it will be mostly dry with minimal to no rain.
Today will start off cold and breezy with some good sunny spells. There will be a few scattered showers through the afternoon with a small risk of hail. Temperatures will be around 7 or 8 degrees but it'll feel colder due to a brisk northwesterly wind.

Showers will ease tonight leaving mostly dry and clear conditions. It will be cold with frost and icy patches could develop as temperatures drop to between 0 and +2 degrees.
Tomorrow will be largely dry with sunny spells which may turn hazy at times. The highest temperatures will be around 7 or 8 degrees.
There is no further forecast for Dublin but here's what the national outlook says:
Thursday night
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Clear spells in the south and east early but cloud will increase from the northwest with some localised outbreaks of light rain and drizzle at times. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, coldest in the southeast but temperatures will rise towards morning, in light northwesterly or variable winds.
Friday
"A mix of cloud and hazy bright or sunny spells on Friday. It will be a mostly dry day, with just isolated patches of light rain mostly near northern and western coasts. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds.
Friday night
"Dry with good clear spells early in the night, cloud will increase towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, some mist and fog will develop also in light northerly breezes.
Saturday
"Any mist and fog will clear though the morning leaving a dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Highs will range from 7 to 10 degrees, coolest in the east, in light northeast to east winds."
