Met Eireann has issued another weather warning as Storm Franklin continues to rage across Ireland.
Nearly 30,000 homes and businesses across Ireland are without power due to extreme weather conditions.
A nationwide yellow warning is in place until 9am this morning but the national forecaster has issued a fresh alert for two counties.
Another Status Yellow alert is in place until 12 noon for Wexford and Wicklow warning of "strong winds and severe gusts".
ESB Networks crew are working tirelessly to restore power across the country with most of the areas affected being in Co Sligo and Co Donegal.
The horrid conditions are set to continue this week as Met Eireann has said the country will be lashed with heavy rain, sleet, and snow.
Today will see strong winds easing off later in the day with bright and dry conditions developing.
A band of "heavier and persistent" rain is set to dominate later tonight as temperatures will drop to the lows of 4 to 8 degrees.
Tomorrow will see another wet start to the day but the rain will clear eastwards, followed by sunny spells and scattered showers, with the chance of sleet on high ground in the northwest.
However, it'll turn dry elsewhere in the evening.
Temperatures will range between 5 and 9 degrees.
