Met Eireann has issued two new Status Yellow alerts for all of Ireland as drivers have been warned of 'hazardous conditions'.
The weather warnings for 'freezing fog' and 'ice' were issued on Friday afternoon as temperatures are set to drop to -4C overnight.
A third snow and ice warning remains in place for Donegal until midday Saturday as "scattered sleet and snow showers" are expected, especially on high ground.
The nationwide Status Yellow warning for 'freezing fog' came into effect at 4pm on Friday and will remain in place overnight until 12pm on Saturday.

The alert reads: "Patches of freezing fog are expected, causing potentially hazardous driving conditions."
Freezing fog is where water droplets are supercooled while suspended in the air and can be converted to ice upon contact with a surface such as a car windscreen, leading to treacherous driving conditions.
Met Eireann also issued the Status Yellow ice warning for all of Ireland, which comes effect 7pm on Friday and will remain in place until 12pm on Saturday.
A forecaster said: "A sharp frost and icy stretches will set in on Friday night as temperatures dip to -4 degrees in places."
Motorists should also watch out for black ice on the roads, which forms as rain freezes on the roads.
This comes after many parts of Ireland woke up to snow on Friday morning. The national forecaster said it will remain "bitterly cold" as it looks likely that these freezing conditions could continue for a week.
Weather expert Alan O'Reilly estimated that there will be "very little thaw" over the next seven days.
Taking to on his Twitter account, Carlow Weather, he warned people to watch out for frozen pipes, writing: "Very little thaw now over the next 7 days which will lead to frozen pipes. If you have turned off heating in areas keep an eye or also attics etc."
Over the next few days, Met Eireann warned of "treacherous conditions with some severe frosts, icy stretches and dense freezing fog in parts".
They also predicted some more snow showers, as well as hail and sleet, though overall the weather will be dry but freezing.
Saturday is expected to be mostly dry with low winter sunshine, as some frost and ice lingers in sheltered areas as well patches of freezing fog.
