Met Eireann have issued a new Status Yellow weather warning with two parts of the country set to be hit with heavy rain overnight.
It will turn very wet on Monday night with the yellow alert in place for Munster and Galway. It is valid from 3am in the morning until 3pm on Tuesday with both areas at risk of 'spot flooding'
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Spells of rain overnight and on Tuesday will be heavy at times leading to spot flooding."

This comes as one weather expert warned that up to 40mm of rain could fall in some areas.
Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather wrote on his Twitter account: "Some sunny spells tomorrow [Monday] most of the showers in Northern areas but turning very wet tomorrow night.
"Tuesday also looking a wet day with over 30mm for some parts of West and Southwest and possibly even over 40mm for a few spots with risk of spot flooding. Very breezy also."
However, this is not the end of the rain for the week with a washout few days in store for Ireland. The wet weather is expected to continue with as low pressure is set to dominate.
Alan O'Reilly said that Ireland could be hit by heavy rain on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.
He wrote on Twitter: "Over 100mm possible in the Southwest by Friday night. Heavy rain tonight, tomorrow and again on Wednesday night!"
