Met Eireann forecasts heavy downpours for Dublin with 24-hour flood alert issued

Good morning, folks! It's going to be a nasty bank holiday Monday as heavy rain will lash Dublin.

A Status Yellow Rain warning was issued for Clare, Kerry, and Galway with Met Eireann warning of possible "localised flooding" due to heavy rain. The alert will be valid from 12pm today until 12 pm tomorrow.

Today will start with sunny spells but cloud and rain are set to take over by lunchtime with some heavy downpours expected. Temperatures will range from 19 to 21 degrees.
