ALABAMA - Just like the old days, soccer fans around the world will have the opportunity to see yet another clash between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as Inter Miami's preseason tour has taken them to Saudi Arabia. Both superstars faced each other more than 30 times during their stints at the top of European soccer and, while this will be a friendly match, seeing them face to face again will certainly be a nostalgic moment for many.
At the national team level, both the Africa Cup of Nations and AFC Asian Cup start their KO stages this week. The final for the Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to be played on Feb. 11 while its Asian counterpart will take place on Feb. 10.
