Messages of support have been sent to a mum of a 21-year-old who was killed in a crash.
Merseyside Police were called to the M62 between junction 5 for Roby and junction 6 for Tarbock Island just after midnight on Saturday, May 27, to reports of a crash. The motorway was closed for almost 11 hours following the crash between a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Mercedes C180.
A man and woman were taken to hospital but the 21-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, died. The passenger was named locally as Kate Swale.
