‘Message received’: Woman says her favorite part of dating is the day they suddenly turn cold

Dating often feels like a long, drawn-out process, but one creator has found joy in the moment things fall apart. The creator, known as @emlegssssss, said in a TikTok video that her favorite part of dating someone new is the day they suddenly decide they hate her. She calls it switch up day.

She claims she came up with the name herself, as she wanted a way to describe that abrupt transition from interest to hostility. “It’s invigorating. It’s like an IV straight to the vein,” the creator said, describing the rush of switch up day as remarkably intense.
