Merseyrail warn Liverpool Central to shut to Northern Line trains later this month

Merseyrail Liverpool Central Hunts Cross

Liverpool Central station will shut to all Northern Line trains for three days at the end of the month.

Merseyrail has announced that there will be significant disruption to its services at the end of the month as work to prepare Liverpool Central station for a new fleet of Class 777 trains takes place.

The disruption will take place between Sunday February 26 and Wednesday, March 1 when Liverpool Central station will be closed to Northern line passengers, during which time there will be no services on the Hunts Cross line.
