Public transport operators have issued updates about how their services will be impacted by Monday's Bank Holiday.
The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II means that Monday September 19 will now be a Bank Holiday. This means many people will now be off work and shops and businesses across the country will close for the day.
But some people will still be heading to work and others will be out and about on Monday, and those people will be keen to know of any planned disruption to public transport timetables. We asked our local providers here in Merseyside what their plans are for Monday.
Merseyrail
The short answer on this one is things will stay the same for the region's rail provider. While some have speculated that Merseyrail would run a reduced service as it does on Sundays, the operator has confirmed to the ECHO that a normal weekday service will be in place across the network on Monday.

This means trains will run at the usual 15 minute intervals across the network.
Arriva
Arriva is one of Merseyside's two big bus operators, which welcomes thousands of passengers onto its services each day. We asked Arriva what its plans are for Monday August 19.
A spokesperson for the company told us that Arriva will be operating its standard Bank Holiday service on Monday. For the Liverpool City Region this will mean Arriva services will operate to the usual Sunday timetable and frequency.
The full timetable should be updated here shortly.
Stagecoach
Stagecoach is the other major bus operator serving our region. On its website, company boss Martin Griffiths has paid tribute to the Queen.
He said: "We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Our thoughts and sympathies are with the Royal Family at this sad time. Throughout her 70-year reign, she has dedicated her life to serving our country and the people within it. She has achieved so much, and she will be greatly missed by all."
Like Arriva, Stagecoach will also be operating a Bank Holiday/Sunday reduced service on Monday. Details can be found here.
