Mercury rises further in Delhi, but heatwave not likely soon

NEW DELHI: The maximum temperature in the city rose to 36.8 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal, on Sunday.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the day temperature may touch 39 degrees Celsius in parts of Delhi by March 29-30, but heatwave is unlikely for the next few days.
