A driver has been left stunned after being quoted £15,000 to replace the battery in his Mercedes Benz - which is more than what the car is worth.
Retired motorist Ranjit Singh, 63, who lives in Knighton, Leicester, bought the second-hand white hybrid car four years ago for £27,000.
But this week, Ranjit was told the battery had come to the end of its life after just eight years on the road.
