Nottingham Forest fans have given their immediate reaction to defeat against Manchester United at the City Ground.
The Reds went into the game looking to pick up points to allow them to climb out of the relegation zone. Steve Cooper ’s men sat in 18th place in the Premier League table and are in the bottom three on goal difference.
That is how the table will stay, following a 2-0 loss against Erik ten Hag’s side. Goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot either side of half-time ensured that the Red Devils took all three points back to Old Trafford with them, and left Forest 10 games without a win in the Premier League.

Forest may have felt that they should have been awarded a penalty with the score still at 0-0 in the first half when the ball appeared to hit Harry Maguire on the arm in the Man United box. But a VAR check waved away appeals from Cooper’s team.
The defeat now places more emphasis on Forest’s remaining seven games of the season. They are back in action next Saturday when they take on Liverpool at Anfield. Their position means that a win becomes even more important.
Following the full-time whistle against Man United, Forest fans took to social media to give their immediate reaction. Here’s what just some had to say.
Danny Mills : Simply not good enough unfortunately. Maguire's handball being given does change the game but I don't think it changes the outcome. 10-0 over 4 games with a team we've seen more than most #nffc
Gav : Nowhere near good enough today poor poor performance only Felipe and Navas deserve credit #NFFC
Tom Sharpe : Start planning for the championship now, no reason why we can’t come back up having had a clear out, a squad that’s ready to go up and have another crack at the big time. #NFFC
James : I’m not sure the players are really playing for Cooper anymore. When was the last time you felt that? #NFFC
Pete Vallelly : #nffc the worst home performance this season. Let’s be honest, we are a very poor team.
Paul Elliott : Men against boys I’m afraid. Manchester United have virtually not put a foot wrong. But they’ll struggle to have an easier game.
The effort defensively is clear for all to see. But going forward it’s painful to watch. The lack of a ball playing midfielder is killing us. #NFFC
Brian Flindall : Where was the midfield? Starting to worry about Steve Cooper’s tactics sometimes #nffc
Dannyduncs : 31 games in and it’s clear we’ve not transitioned to the premiership.
Defending, passing and decision making has been poor.
We lack pace and urgency.
The midfield also non existing, game plan seems to be get ball and pump it up to the forwards Something needs to change… #nffc
Jacob Foreman : Apart from Felipe there’s not a player on that pitch that performs like they want to win a game of football. No fight, no heart, no want to win. So frustrating to watch #nffc
