A routine walk turned into a harrowing discovery in Tennessee when a dog walker stumbled upon what appeared to be human remains. The discovery has set off a massive investigation in Memphis, as authorities are now working to identify the remains of three young children found near a school and a church. According to Fox News, the Memphis Police Department has been actively searching the area since March 8.
Police Chief Cerelyn Davis spoke about the gravity of the situation during a press conference on April 22. “Someone knows of missing children that we have discovered in this area,” Davis said. “This is heartbreaking, it’s disturbing and at this time we have numerous resources to help us to identify these young people and bring closure to this investigation.”
