Seven players finished in double figures and Tiffany Mitchell tallied 21 points as Melbourne Boomers thrashed the Canberra Capitals by 35 points in round three of the WNBL.
In front of their home fans in Parkville, the hosts exploded for 36 points and a 14-point quarter-time lead they would never relinquish as the Boomers roared home for win No.3 of the season.
The Boomers notched 28 assists to the Capitals' nine and poured in 32 points from their bench unit for a dominant win, led by star trio Mitchell, Cayla George and Kristy Wallace.
Point guard Wallace was a whopping plus 44 in Sunday's contest and tallied 15 points, seven assists and four rebounds while George stuffed the stat sheet again with a 14 point, 13 rebound double-double to go with six assists, four steals and a block.
The victory sees Melbourne remain third on the WNBL standings behind Townsville and Bendigo who are both still undefeated.
Bendigo didn't play in round three but Townsville recorded another home win on Wednesday behind Lauren Nicholson's strong performance.
Nicholson had 25 points and eight rebounds, hitting four of her six attempts from three point range as the Fire held off Southside Flyers 86-71.
Elsewhere, Perth moved up to two wins and two losses with an eight-point victory over Sydney Flames at Bendat Basketball Centre.
Five players finished in double figures with Amy Atwell (five three-pointers) and Chloe Bibby totalling 15 points apiece in the 80-72 win.
Adelaide were also winners in round three via a 20 point, 87-67 win over the Flames at Adelaide Arena.
The Flames and Capitals are the only remaining winless teams so far in WNBL23.
Round four tips off on November 30 with the Lightning hosting the Capitals in Adelaide.
