Melania Trump has spoken about motherhood and shared childhood photos of her son Barron Trump in the latest ad promoting her new memoir.

While the former first lady has been notably absent from her husband’s presidential campaign trail – including skipping Tuesday’s presidential debate – she has recently shared a flurry of videos on social media to plug the publication of her tell-all, self-titled memoir: Melania.

In what marks the fourth video posted on X in a week, the 54-year-old former model bursts into frame with a sepia photo holding now 18-year-old Barron as a baby.

The pair are both dressed in white and smiling jubilantly at the camera.

The clip then cuts to a recent recording of Melania, who sports a cheque blazer and hair flowing down her shoulders as she delivers the touching message about her “fulfilment” with her role as a mother.

“The challenges and awards of motherhood,” she says in the clip.

“From sleepless nights to joyful milestones, bring immense fulfilment which only a mother understands.”

Another archive, black and white photo in the video shows Melania affectionately placing her head on her infant son’s cheek as he stares off in the distance. Her book then hits the screen.

She concludes: “The lessons I’ve learned from these experiences are profound and they have shaped me in ways that I could have never imagined.”

It marks Melania’s fourth video posted on X since last Thursday with the first focusing on delivering her “truth”, the second concerning perceived “challenges” about her husband Donald Trump’s free speech, and the third demanding “answers” over the attempt on his life in July.

Melania’s book is billed on her website as an “intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life.”

A standard copy of the memoir will sell for $40, while a signed copy will set someone back $75. And for those looking for bonus photos, that will cost $250.

“May your experience reading my book be as enjoyable as the writing process was for me,” she wrote earlier this year on X.

Melania’s reflection on her parenting of Barron comes just over a week after the teen rang in his first day as a student at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Barron graduated from West Palm Beach, Florida’s Oxbridge Academy in May and, after being “accepted to a lot of colleges,” his father confirmed earlier this month he would attend the New York institution, where annual tuition starts at $62,700.

At the school, the political scion may, however, have to face several Stern professors who signed an open letter in October 2020 – ahead of the last election – about his father being a “threat to the Republic.”
