Hollywood star Mel Gibson will send a personal video message to the people of Trim to mark the 25th anniversary of the Oscar-winning film Braveheart.
Many of the movie's most famous scenes were shot around Trim Castle in Co Meath, with Gibson often talking of his love for the area.
The actor, alongside fellow film thespians Brendan Gleeson and David O'Hara, have also signed photographs which will be auctioned off in aid of a local fundraising effort to send as many 4x4s in a humanitarian convoy to the Ukraine.

Gibson, who has been awarded the title of Freeman of Trim, said he was 'happy' to send a message to organisers of the Braveheart 25 event next month.
The event was due to be held in 2020 but Covid-19 restrictions scuppered the celebrations.
In an email from his agent to Eric Lawlor of the Trim Tourism Networks, he also said he loved mural images of Braveheart scenes which have been produced around the Co. Meath town.
The email reads: "I've shared these amazing mural images with him and he loves them. He would be happy to make a video before your event in July so please reach out when you would like it completed."
The event on August 13 will feature an outdoor screening of Braveheart against the backdrop of Trim Castle.
Stars of the movie who will be in attendance include 'Angus Macfadyn' (Robert the Bruce), James Robinson (young William Wallace), Mhairi Calvey (Murran) and Peter Hanley (Prince Edward). The Scottish William Wallace Society will also be flying in for the event, say organisers.
Eric Lawlor of the Trim Tourism Network has a special attachment to movie as his late brother Sean Lawlor played Malcolm Wallace.
The Dublin-born actor and playwright also appeared in James Cameron's 'Titanic' and Jim Sheridan's 'In the Name of the Father' and played TV parts in 'Minder, 'Murder She Wrote' and 'Chicago Hope' before he passed away in 2009 from cancer.
Braveheart 25 will be launched on Thursday, July 21 opposite the Castle in Trim at noon.
