Meghan Markle's rumoured acting comeback in the United Kingdom has reportedly stalled following alleged public backlash this week. Former magazine editor Tina Brown claimed on her Substack that Netflix withdrew a potential offer for the Duchess of Sussex to star in The Gentlemen.

News broke last week that Meghan was purportedly in advanced talks to join the third season of the hit drama series. Scriptwriter teams were reportedly drafting a bespoke role for her alongside lead actor Theo James in the UK-based production.
