Meghan Markle shares sweet summer holiday snaps of Harry and their children

Meghan Markle has shared a collection of adorable photos capturing the Sussex family’s summer holiday.

In the photos, the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and their two children Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, are seen on the beachfront in a mystery holiday location.

Prince Harry is splashing around in the sea with the children, while Meghan looks on from the sand.

In another picture, snapped in black and white, Prince Harry is pictured throwing Lilibet up into the air in the swimming pool.

Archie is also spotted sitting in the cockpit of a plane, wearing a service hat as he is surrounded by onlooking pilots.

She captioned the collection on Instagram, “Summer Holiday”, with Cliff Richard’s famous tune selected as the backing track.

Most of the pictures are believed to have been taken abroad in Portugal as one picture, taken at a fish restaurant in the Setubal region reveals.

However, another photo suggests the family made a trip to Althorp, Princess Diana’s childhood home.

Lilibet is seen walking through an avenue lined with trees and shrubs, with her back turned to the camera - a move Meghan has made to protect the young royals’ privacy.

Meghan even included a snap with the family pooch - understood to be Mamma Mia - in the final slides of the collection.

The Sussex family are understood to have met with the King at a private audience at Highgrove earlier this month.

It was the first time that the children met their grandfather King Charles III in person since June 2022.

Prince Harry and Meghan had not visited the UK since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The trip was not without its bumps in the road. Prince Harry was understood to have been turned down from Buckingham Palace after not giving staff enough notice to prepare for his arrival.

The Prince was also denied tax payer-funded security over the course of his trip.
