Following the official crowning of King Charles yesterday, the Coronation concert is taking place at Windsor Castle this evening, but neither Prince Harry or Meghan Markle will be present at the star-studded event.
The Duke of Sussex was at Westminster Abbey to see Charles and Queen Camilla's big moment, but he'd previously told his father he wouldn't be able to make the concert festivities as he's rushed back to California to be with Meghan and his two children.
This is potentially for the best, as it's been long thought that the Duchess of Sussex could hold a 'grudge' against one of the performers - American pop singer Katy Perry.
The so-called grudge was supposed to be over a critical comment Katy once made about the former Suits actress' dress for her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
During a promotional tour in the US for American Idol, Katy said she "would've done one more fitting" in relation to the wedding dress Meghan was wearing.
A source told The Daily Star: "Meghan is keenly aware of a comment that Katy Perry made in 2018 about her wedding dress and is notorious for holding a grudge.
"While the comment wasn't meant to be hurtful, Meghan felt under siege at that time and was overwhelmed by arguments with staff, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Thomas Markle."
The remarks still remain raw for Meghan, who is believed to have "held a grudge" after the wedding dress comments.
Despite this, Katy has always seemed to have a soft spot for Harry and once referred to him as a "hot ginger" on the Graham Norton Show.
Back in 2012, host Graham quizzed the singer on the rumour that Harry had asked for her to join the guest list for the late Queen's diamond jubilee 'by name.'
Katy coyly replied: "Prince Harry? He's a hot ginger isn't he."
When comedian Ross Noble quipped that Harry was known for his love of the ladies, Katy joked: "I'd be open to that."
Graham then turned to Girls Aloud star Cheryl and asked her about rumours she had been seen chatting to Harry at the Jubilee Concert after-party.
"Get off my man!" Katy jokingly fumed.
The Duke of Sussex is also thought to be good friends with Katy's fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
The pair struck up a friendship when they became neighbours when the Sussexes moved to Montecito, California in 2020.
Speaking about Harry in 2020, the Hollywood actor said: "This guy is so nice, and I think he's got a great sense of humour. I hope he maintains that through this because they're sort of on a pedestal. We're showing real adoration to them in one form or another.
"I try to justify it, because quite frankly, if I'm honest, it's not like me to poke fun at anyone but it is done with affection."
Some 20,000 members of the public will attend the Coronation concert, which will be aired on BBC1 and Radio 2 along with catch-up services.
Big names have been lined-up, including Take That and Lionel Richie, and of course Katy Perry - but there have been some high-profile snubbings from the likes of Elton John and the Spice Girls.
Another major factor in Harry's early exit is believed to be the loss of his round-the-clock protection from armed police.
The Duke is involved in an ongoing High Court action with the Home Office over a decision to strip him of his UK security following his exit from The Firm in 2020.
