Couples across the world are celebrating Valentine's Day today by exchanging cards, sending flowers and going on romantic dates.
And although the Royals live a much different life to the ones lived by the rest of us, it's safe to say that Harry and Meghan are most likely celebrating the big day today. The pair, who moved to the US around two years ago, have been together for nearly six years after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend, The Mirror reports.
Before romance blossomed, Meghan was starring in Suits, and wrote a blog on the side called The Tig. Although she worked tireless hours as an actress, Meghan made time to tell her followers in 2015 of the Valentine's Day gift she received from the person she was showing love to at the time.

Writing for the blog, Meghan said: "I think you need to be your own Valentine. I think you need to cook that beautiful dinner even when it's just you, wear your favourite outfit, buy yourself some flowers, and celebrate the self-love that often gets muddled when we focus on what we don't have."
In the same post on The Tig, Meghan said that she planned to spend Valentine's Day 2015 'running amok through the streets of New York,' whilst drinking pink cocktails and navigating the icy streets in her brand new shoes.
The actress revealed: "Those shoes, by the way, were a gift to myself. Because I’ve worked hard, because I'm not going to wait for someone to buy me the things I covet (nor do I want to), and because I want to treat myself as well as I treat those dearest to me. Because I am my own funny Valentine."
Meghan packed The Tig up in 2017, shortly before she announced her engagement to Harry. However, it could be making a comeback, as the Duchess of Sussex applied to reactivate the trademark name last month.
In July 2021, LA lawyer Marjorie Witter Norman filed a new application to trademark the name, according to legal reports, according to the Daily Mail. It was filed under a Delaware-based holding company called Frim Fram Inc, linked to Meghan's business manager Andrew Meyer. A similar application, which was filed in 2019, expired last year.
The application has raised hopes that Meghan may one day relaunch the blog, after stepping down as a working member of the Royal Family alongside Prince Harry.
Meghan's most popular post on The Tig was published in October 2016, months after she and Harry started dating. The 2,000 word piece was called 'How To Be Both', in which Meghan offered her candid thoughts on how to juggle 'celebrity life' with 'giving back' and 'doing her day job'.
