Prince Harry was sweetly comforted by Meghan Markle during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a lip reader confirms.
This was their first family visit back to the UK after stepping down as senior royals in 2020, as the couple kept a low profile during the four-day celebration extravaganza.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who made the trip to the UK from California, were spotted at St Paul's Cathedral on Friday alongside other members of the Royal Family.
But they were forced to sit on the second row, 25 feet from Prince William and Prince Charles, the Daily Express reports.
A lip reader noticed that Meghan offered some sweet advice to her hubby during the thanksgiving service, writes the Mirror.
Meghan reportedly turned to Prince Harry at one stage of the 50-minute service and said: "Yeah, will be fine."
Royal expert Ingrid Seward admitted that the seating arrangements at St Paul's were intended to prevent Prince Harry and Prince William from coming face-to-face.
Ingrid told Fabulous: "The excuse was that as they are no longer working members, they were to take a literal back seat.
“The reality is the Palace was determined there would be no photographs that might reveal any animosity between the brothers.
“Becoming a ‘second row royal’ is difficult for Harry to swallow.”
The couples were on opposite sides of the cathedral, as Kate and William sat in the front row with Prince Charles and Camilla, while Harry and Meghan were beside their cousins Princess Eugenie and Beatrice and husbands Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank
Writing for the Mail, royal expert Richard Kay claimed that the seating arrangement showed the "public reality" of Harry's slide down the royal pecking order, branding Charles, Camilla, William and Kate the "real stars of the show".
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the US early, and missed the Platinum Jubilee pageant, that rounded off the four days of celebrations.
The couple, along with their two children Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet were already in the air when the spectacular parade started on Sunday. It is believed they were driven from Frogmore Cottage to Farnborough Airport before taking off at 1.30pm.
An insider told The Sun: “There was no fanfare, they just went.
"They didn't stick around for the Platinum Jubilee pageant.”
