Meghan Markle's former friend Jessica Mulroney has shared a cryptic post after the former Suits actress and Prince Harry released the first instalment of their explosive documentary.
Harry and Meghan have dropped several bombshell allegations in their highly anticipated Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, which have sent shockwaves across the world.
Despite Meghan and Jessica reportedly no longer being in contact, the stylist features several times in the explosive documentary.
In one clip taken from the first instalment of episodes, Meghan can be heard on the phone to Jessica just moments before Prince Harry got down on one knee and proposed to her.
Now, in view of her 413,000 Instagram followers, Jessica shared a post on the day of the release, reading: "Best thing I ever did was learn how to move without the crowd."
Meghan and Jessica were believed to be the closest of friends after meeting on the set of Suits where the Duchess played the role of Rachel Zane.
However, it's believed that the pair have drifted apart when Jessica came under fire in June 2020 after a social media influencer called her out for allegedly displaying signs of "very problematic behaviour and antics" within the fashion industry.
It's claimed that Jessica made comments about white privilege during a conversation with influencer Sasha Exeter during a conversation about the Black Live Matters movement.
Following the accusations, Jessica issued a public apology and appeared to make a reference to Meghan, saying: "As I told you privately, I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and centre.
"It was deeply educational. I learned a lot from that. I promise to continue to learn and listen on how I can use my privilege to elevate and support black voices."
At the time, sources claimed Meghan "considered the relationship to be done" and "could not get over" that Jessica mentioned her.
However, images of Jessica at Meghan and Prince Harry's wedding have appeared in the Netflix documentary as well as an intimate conversation between Jessica and the Duchess.
"Oh my God, Jess, it's happening. He told me not to peek," Meghan said.
Some experts have deemed the series to be more "harmful" than Harry's upcoming memoir, Spare, which is to be released next year.
In the latest trailer, Harry claims that "they were happy to lie to protect my brother" while an image of Buckingham Palace is shown – although it is not clear who he means.
Royal expert Camilla Tominey said: "My understanding is the documentary is more harmful than the book and that the book is extremely closely focused on his childhood, his life and the army."
