Meghan Markle's Buckingham Palace balcony ban disgrace was 'more than she could bear'

Meghan Markle's exclusion from the traditional Buckingham Palace balcony appearance at the upcoming King's coronation was "more than she could bear", a royal expert has said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed Prince Harry will be attending the King's Coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6 but Meghan has decided to snub the big event, instead staying at the family home in Montecito, California, US, with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

But with the estranged royal couple excluded from any kind of significant role in the ceremony, the Duchess may have chosen to stay away to avoid her own embarassment, according to Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty magazine and royal biographer.
