Meghan Markle has been spotted celebrating with friends as she attended her friend Samantha Stone’s recent baby shower.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex, who is mum to five-year-old Archie and three-year-old Lilibet, seemed in high spirits as she was photographed smiling alongside her pregnant pal and other friends.

In the social media post, shared on the profile of Meghan’s long-time friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, the mother of two raised her hands in the air and excitedly looked down at Ms Stone’s bump.

Pregnant Ms Stone, who works as the chief membership officer of Soho House, was joined in the picture by Markus Anderson and Markle’s pal Ms McKee Zajfen.

Meghan is said to have become close friends with Ms McKee Zajfen over a decade ago after reportedly being introduced through Markle’s ex husband.

The duo have been spotted at multiple events together since, including a charity event for the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

In line with the party’s theme, Meghan wore a pastel pink dress as the troupe celebrated the imminent arrival of a baby girl.

“I love 💕 a theme,” the caption read. “Wear Pink she said! Celebrating our sweet baby girl coming oh so soon! Adore you @samanthamstone and can’t wait to meet baby Stone. She’s a lucky little girl to have a mama like you.”

The post was swiftly inundated with supportive messages from fans who praised the group for the wonderful baby shower theme.

Meghan’s recent celebration with friends came shortly after she and her husband, Prince Harry, marked the release of their 5-part Netflix docuseries Polo.

Co-produced by the couple, the show “goes behind the scenes of professional polo, offering an unprecedented look into the players' lives on and off the field.”

The series is produced by Archwell Productions, an entertainment company founded by the couple back in 2020 that is dedicated to “illuminating thought-provoking and diverse narratives that underscore our common humanity and celebrate community.”

However, the Netflix show has garnered few rave results so far, with most viewers instead criticising the docuseries as “tedious” and the narrative of the elite polo world “boring.”

Aside from their ongoing television endeavours, the couple, who have been married since 2018, will be gearing up to spend yet another Christmas in the United States.

Reports suggest that the couple were snubbed from invites to Sandringham Palace, where the Royal Family will be spending the festive period this year.

The duo are expected to spend a quiet Christmas in Montecito with their children and family members.
