Meghan Markle is "all about the truth", but wants it to be "something which makes her look good", an expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex teamed up with her husband Prince Harry to release a Netflix docuseries about all aspects of their lives, with the Duke of Sussex also publishing an explosive tell-all memoir, Spare.
Many bombshell claims were made by Harry and Meghan as they shared "the other side of their high-profile love story ", but not everyone has accepted their claims.
Columnist Louise Roberts has said Meghan will use the truth if it "makes her look good" or "attach her victimhood status" to it if it doesn't.
"Meghan is all about the truth and the truth for the rest of us is sort of facts and data and pretty much stuff that can be proven by a number of sources.
"But course Meghan wants truth to be something which makes her look good or if it doesn't make her look good then it's something she can attach her victimhood status to," Louise, who writes for News Corp, told Sky News.
A recent poll has suggested Harry and Meghan's truth telling campaign has tarnished the reputation of the whole Royal Family in the eyes of the public.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's popularity has slumped to a new low, but a recent Ipsos poll also suggests all senior royals have been negatively affected by the revelations made in Spare and Harry and Meghan's documentary.
Prince William remains the most popular senior royal, but his rating has slipped by 10% since December.
Harry took aim at the Prince of Wales in his debut memoir and claimed his older brother physically attacked him during a heated exchange.
Prince Anne is the second most popular royal, followed closely by Kate Middleton.
However, both Anne and Kate's popularity have dropped by 11 points since December.
Overall, the Royal Family's approval rating has fallen to 47%, down six points since the start of the year.
