A blossoming friendship between Meghan Markle and Jennifer Aniston is on the cards- after the Friends superstar snapped up a huge property in the same star-studded area the Duchess of Sussex lives.
Jennifer, 53, has purchased Oprah Winfrey's estate in Montecito on the Californian Coast, it has been reported, where Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, reside in their own multi-million dollar mansion.
Other celebrities who own property in the affluent neighbourhood include Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen DeGeneres, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and Ariana Grande.
Jen is said to be excited for the move and meeting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and it appears the feeling it mutual.
An insider told Heat magazine: "Jennifer is a big fan of Harry and Meghan and has heard some wonderful things abut them via Oprah and other mutual acquaintances."
The source added that the royal couple will be invited to The Morning Show star's housewarming party.
They said Jennifer hopes to hang out with Harry and Meghan at dinner parties, and spend time with them and Oprah, who famously conducted the pair's bombshell interview about their time with the Royal Family before they moved to California.
"Jen and Meghan are both really excited to see each other and see if they can build a meaningful friendship," the source said.
Meghan and Harry are also said to be a "huge fan" of Jennifer's and are a "little starstruck" at the thought of meeting her, but will get past that.
Jennifer and the Suits star have plenty in common, the insider added, such as a "shared passion for yoga".
"As dog lovers they'll be able to take relaxing walks on the beach, and maybe do some wine tasting- it's going to be an absolute blast and they cannot wait," the source finished.
Meghan and Harry are expected to return to Montecito shortly, after they extended their stay in the UK to mourn Queen Elizabeth II.
Although Harry has stepped back from royal duties, he and Meghan took their place alongside his family for the ceremonies of the Queen’s state funeral on Monday.
But, a source close to the Royal Family told US Weekly that Harry and Meghan are anxious to return home to the US to see their children.
“Meghan and Harry are preparing to return to Montecito almost immediately after the funeral, where they’ll be reunited with Archie and Lilibet after being separated for over two weeks,” the insider said.
They also noted it was the “longest amount of time” the couple had spent apart from their children.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are parents to three-year-old Archie and Lilibet, who is 15 months old, headed to Europe on September 4.
They had initially planned to spend less than a week across the pond, speaking at a series of philanthropic events.
However, they extended their stay after the Queen died on September 8, aged 96, and have been reunited with the Royal Family to grieve ever since.
