Controversial remarks by US President Donald Trump regarding Nato forces in Afghanistan have drawn a sharp rebuke from Prince Harry, with the Duchess of Sussex subsequently offering her public backing.
Mr Trump, speaking in a Fox News interview, claimed Nato troops "stayed a little off the front lines" during the conflict and asserted that the US had "never needed" its allies. This assertion comes despite the alliance's collective defence clause being invoked after the 9/11 attacks.
