Megan Thee Stallion's Megan Act II album: more brilliant one-liner's from rap's undisputed queen

Megan Thee Stallion - (PA Archive)

Megan Thee Stallion has the haters on blast in her surprise album. “I'm at the top of my game, I'm who they hate. This s**t come with the fame, that's how I knew that I made it,” she magnanimously acknowledges as she opens her first track, Bigger in Texas.

Simply releasing an album and leaving it there is so passé these days. Megan is the latest star to return with a surprise second round, dropping Megan: Act II on Friday.

In a continuation of her third studio album Megan, it’s overflowing with even more hard-hitting one-liners rubbing shoulders with some of the filthiest brags in the business.

K-pop superstars Twice guest star on a remix of Mamushi, Megan’s summer hit that originally featured Yuki Chiba.

“I'm the youngest bitch ownin' her masters. Bitches always f***ed, stuck in a deal,” she says on Bigger In Texas, in reference to her deal with Warner Music Group inked earlier this year that allows her to retain full rights to her art while they help with distribution.

Taylor Swift famously lost her masters after they were bought from under her by Scooter Braun, leading her to re-record her entire discography.

Megan has been clear that she is taking back the narrative, releasing 13 new tracks ahead of a documentary of her life. Directed by Nneka Onuorah (who won an Emmy for Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls), it promises to explore the “most vulnerable moments” of the rapper’s rise to superstardom. Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words will air on October 31 on Prime Video.

Megan: Act II (Megan Thee Stallion)

There are plenty of steamy rhymes about riding d*ck, Megan lets her bisexual flag fly in Best Friend. “I like girls that like girls, that attract me. I got a b*tch and a man, make 'em tag team,” she sings about watching women kiss in the back of a car. “I got a b*tch I never mention, but she at me.”

While the rapper has been linked romantically to NBA player Torrey Craig, her lyrics in Act II suggests she may also have a secret girlfriend.

Despite a firmly tongue-in-cheek claim: “I ain't got beef with nobody 'bout sh*t” on her track Bourbon, Megan has some choice remarks for her nemesis Nicki Minaj.

“B*tch going live from that dirty-ass crib, ew,” she sneers, referencing Minaj taking to Instagram Live after she perceived a diss on Hiss, a track on Megan’s third studio album. “Think you my opp, but it's all in your head.”

She’s not above a little below-the-belt swiping at Minaj, who has admitted to getting injectables in her bottom. “B*tches buy ass, and ain’t fixin’ the face,” she adds. While on Bigger in Texas she raps that there “ain’t know injections” or shapewear in her beauty regime. “B*tch, I know I'm gorgeous, lil' bitty waist, big titties, I don't need no corset.”

Megan has no time for celebrities whose vanity demands they edit their red carpet photos either. “Real fine b*tch, I ain't gotta edit out the Getty,” she says on Roc Steady.

Her stylist, Todd White, gets his flowers delivered with shade to her contemporaries. “You ain't outdressin' me on the top of a salad. In my own lanе but I'm still stoppin' traffic.”

Like Sabrina Carpenter, she’s a fan of a Nintendo console — or at least the punning opportunities offered by its name. “Hoes tryna get picked, I'm just tryna get d*ck. Like Mario Kart, these n***as get switched,“ she jokes on Roc Steady. On Bigger in Texas she brags “I just hopped on a G6, I'm gettin' head while I'm playin' my Switch,” because who doesn’t want to get eaten out on a private jet while playing video games?

Megan claims in Right Now that she’s the “baddest bitch out right now”. With lyrics this funny and filthy, we’re not going to argue.
