Megan Fox deletes Instagram amid Machine Gun Kelly split speculation

Megan Fox deleted her Instagram account mere hours after sparking speculation that she and Machine Gun Kelly have split.

Before deactivating her account on Sunday evening, the actress, 36, deleted all photos of her fiancée and shared a cryptic post, hinting at someone being “dishonest”.

On Sunday morning, Fox shared a carousel of photos which featured mirror selfies, and a short video of an envelope being burnt.

Alongside the post, she quoted lyrics from Beyoncé’s song, Pray You Catch Me, from her 2016 Lemonade album that is believed to refer to infidelity.

Her caption read: “You can taste the dishonesty/It’s all over your breath.”

The Transformers star also unfollowed everyone she had previously followed, including Kelly, except for three people, Eminem, Timothée Chalamet and Harry Styles.

After her account was deactivated, fans took to Twitter to question why Fox’s Instagram has disappeared.

One remarked: “Did Megan Fox delete her Instagram???? I’m concerned.”

“Megan Fox deleting every pic she has of her with Machine Gun Kelly on Instagram unfollowing him AND following Eminem yeah it’s really over,” another fan claimed.

A third commented: “megan fox deleted her instagram damn what did mgk do” (sic).

Kelly, real name Colson Baker, and Fox met in early 2020 on the set of the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass and quickly became close, with the actress staring in the musician's video for Bloody Valentine two months later.

They got engaged last January after 18 months together where he proposed with an emerald and two pear-cut diamond ring that was designed so that it was painful for her to remove.

He told Vogue at the time: “You see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts.”

Fox and Kelly’s engagement came less than two years after she separated from Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three sons: Noah, nine, Bodhi, seven, and Journey, five.

The pair were last seen publicly together at Drake’s Super Bowl party on Friday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Last week, they also attended the 65th Grammy Awards together.

Prior to the ceremony, the Jennifer Body’s star attended the annual pre-Grammys gala with a broken wrist and concussion, but didn’t share an explanation for how she sustained the injuries.

The Standard has contacted Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s rep for comment.
