A father of two has taken TikTok by storm after sharing a video of his roast dinner. Jake Farrar's plate piled high with Yorkshire puddings has attracted more than a million views on the social media site.
Jake, a self-confessed Yorkshire pudding addict, consumes several of the golden delicacies on a daily basis and even has them with jam and cream for dessert. The 25-year-old has "at least 10" with a roast and has been known to put away as many as 20 in one sitting.
Speaking about his love of Yorkshire puddings, Jake told Yorkshire Live : "They just taste so nice. How can you not like them? They are the food of the gods."
Jake will take Yorkshire puddings for his lunch at work, before enjoying more at home with his family in the evening. And sometimes they feature in more than one of Jake's courses.
"There's always a pack of ten, at least, bought for me, and then I get the leftovers," he said. "I'll have leftovers with jam and cream."
Jake was left shocked recently after posting a video of himself, his daughter, and his mother-in-law to their family TikTok account @littlejaffas. Prompted by his mother-in-law, he filmed one of their regular meals, and the video has since been viewed a million times.
Many people thought it was hilarious to see Jake's pile compared to the smaller plates across the table. The video also won Jake praise from fans who say he is living their dream.
One user commented: "It's not easy watching someone else live your dream." Another wrote: "That plate is a living fantasy."
