A West Lothian lad has traded council estates for high-value rates in the beautiful city of Dubai, as a new BBC show delves into the lives of stock brokers in the United Arab Emirates.
The programme, titled Dubai Hustle, is a deep-dive into the lives of various property salespeople in the ever-growing city of Dubai, where the brokers work on commission for high volumes of cash.
Chris Lock is a 27-year-old sales broker from Livingston in West Lothian, and swapped his council estate living for something a little bit upmarket in the stunning city.

Speaking on the programme, Chris told viewers a little more about his background, and why he made the decision to move to Dubai.
Chris said: "Living in a council estate taught me valuable lessons. I don't take myself too seriously because you can't, really. It's taught me how to work hard. It's really inspired me to want more in life.
"The reason I moved out here is simple - to make money, and make a lot of it, and pay no tax.
"When you're back home, you can get stuck in the same place. Now when I phone people back home, they're like, 'you got out, you've made it'.

"You don't want to get stuck in a rut back home, it's so easy to just plant your roots and never move out. And it seems like such a task to come to such a place far away."
Chris also delves into his love for selling properties, adding: "I've always had a passion for sales. I absolutely love it. If you were to cut me open, you'd just see it running through my blood.
"I absolutely love it. I've got to make it a success."
Chris is trying to steal a contract from fellow broker Cody, whose buyer is already signed and chequed for this property in Dubai. But Chris is adamant his client is a better buyer.
Speaking on the situation, Chris said: "It's going to be stressful, but to earn that sort of money in a day, it's going to be worth it."
Commission on the sale is £5,000 alone, which means in one days work, Chris is making more than the majority of people make in a month.
He pushes the deal through, it seems, and looks to be celebrating at the end with leasing broker Archie, who agrees with Chris' sly moves in business.
Chris asked Archie: "Would you feel bad for Cody", as he deliberates the point that this would've been Cody's first big sale.
Archie said: "No, I wouldn't, because I'd do it. It sounds terrible to say but you've got to do what you've got to do, I guess."
However, right at the end of the episode, Chris is told by Cody over the phone that he visited the seller, who was happy with Chris' plans for the contract.
On the preview of the next episode, Chris and Cody can be seen deliberating over the contracts, still in a heated battle over who gets the final pay at the end of play.
So, what's going to happen - will Chris exercise his experience to get the deal done, or will Cody sneak in and steal the contract back?
