Leading Russian state TV host Dmitry Kiselyov is reportedly on holiday at a luxury Dubai resort just days after simulating a nuclear attack on Ireland.
The host, known as "Putin's mouthpiece", is said to be staying in a five-star hotel with his wife.
The 68-year-old has been a presenter since 1968 and is a very close associate of the Russian leader - making the threats to Ireland and the UK more worrying.

He has previously come under fire for homophobia, praising the Stalin era and saying that Russia could turn the US into "radioactive dust" back in 2015.
His latest headline grabbing broadcast in the west sees him speak of an attack on the “British Isles” as footage plays of the islands of Ireland and Britain being wiped off the map by a nuclear weapon.
Another clip shows Mr Kiselyov discussing Russia using a nuclear underwater drone, an experimental Russian weapon, to “plunge the British Isles into the depths of the sea.”
The clip has been slammed by the Irish government with the Taoiseach labelling the clip "worrying".
Mr Martin told the Irish Mirror: "It’s very sinister, intimidatory type tactics by the Russian Federation but I don’t think anyone’s going to be intimidated by it and I think it reflects a mindset that is worrying and not in touch with reality.
“I think there should be an apology forthcoming in relation to that but the more fundamental point I would think is that Russia should cease hostilities in Ukraine.
“The degree of bombardment and destruction of towns and cities and human carnage that has taken place is absolutely without any justification.
“It’s an immoral war that should end and human corridors should be provided consistently in terms of those trapped in Mariupol and other locations.”
While many people are sounding the alarm, Tom Clonan, Senator, retired army officer, and Security Analyst said the chances of the missile actually being launched in Ireland’s direction are “extremely small.”
“I know there will be many people listening to this who will be very frightened by this, or it may provoke fear and unease, but the chances of this happening are extremely small.
“This is propaganda.”
