When it comes to the the immense expectations for the Boston Celtics this season given where the current iteration of the team is in its contention arc contrasted with the ball club’s storied history, new Celtics broadcaster Drew Carter has a similar perspective on following in the footsteps of the mighty Mike Gorman.
Among the most beloved broadcasters by any fanbase, Carter has his own mountainous expectations to live up to as he steps into the road role the retiring Gorman is stepping out of — and so far, the 26-year-old broadcaster has been nailing the landing with his new (dream) job. No small feat that, the new NBC Sports Boston broadcaster recently linked up with CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning for a special edition of the “Garden Report” podcast on the changing of the guard in the booth.
