Medical students from Karnataka seek Centre’s help to return to China

BENGALURU: Students from Karnataka pursuing MBBS courses in Chinese varsities have sought the Centre’s help to return to that country.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, a group of students said they represent more than 23,000 who travelled to India for their winter break or due to Covid but are now unable to return. Most of them enrolled for MBBS in 2019 and lost precious time of their course pursuing online studies and are missing out on practical exposure, they said.
