US measles cases set to surpass last year’s record high – and it’s only July

The number of U.S. measles cases is about to exceed the total for all of last year – and it’s only July.

There are now 2,260 confirmed cases in 44 states and the District of Columbia, according to the latest numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
