Lacey Chabert has revealed she would "absolutely" love to take part in a Mean Girls sequel and she's even got the approval of her co-star Lindsay Lohan.
40-year-old Lacey, who played Gretchen Wieners in the teen classic, said it would be fun to see what the characters are up to now and if their children have followed in their high school footsteps.
Mean Girls has developed a strong cult following since its first release in 2004 and inspired a second film which followed a whole new cast.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Lacey was quizzed on if she would be up for reprising her role for a reboot.
"Absolutely. I think it would be so much fun to see where these women are now and if their kids are the new Mean Girls. I would love to know what they're doing," she said.
Addressing the film's writer Tina Fey, she added: "Let's just do it."
Elsewhere in the interview, Lacey was asked about her iconic Mean Girls catchphrase 'so fetch' which she said people still use to this day.
"I was sick recently and was picking up a prescription and the pharmacist said, 'Oh, you don't look like you look very fetch today'."
Lacey's interview comes after Lindsay Lohan also expressed interest in doing a Mean Girls sequel.
Sharing a throwback snap of herself with the rest of the cast on social media, 36-year-old Lindsay wrote: "#tbt miss you all... sequel?"
She also made an appearance on The Tonight Show and discussed the possibility of a new film.
"I think that's in Tina Fey's hands," she said.
Daniel Franzese, who played Damian in Mean Girls, also expressed interest in a sequel, telling the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast he would "love" to do it.
"I would do it in any form whatsoever. This movie brings people so much joy," he said.
Daniel added: "I mean, I want to do a whole movie with the whole cast.
"We all play different characters. People would love that, you know? Tina Fey's got that power and she ain't pulling the trigger. So I don't know who else could do it."
