McDonald's unveils Christmas 2022 menu that features a festive favourite comeback

McDonald's fans should mark their calendars as the fast-food chain has officially revealed when to expect its festive menu to land in stores.

The popular chain has officially revealed its festive menu for this year and it features a range of returning classics - including a festive favourite side order.

And fans don't have to wait that long to try out some of the company's treats as the new menu will land in-stores - and at your table - from Wednesday, November 23.

The Mirror recently revealed what items you can tuck into this year and, let's just say, it won't disappoint. From fan-favourite burgers and festive sides to sweets, here is what is available on the McDonald's Christmas 2022 menu.

Burgers

The Big Tasty will be coming back at the end of November (McDonald's)

If you loved the mammoth Big-Tasty, then you will be excited to hear that it will be back on the menu from the end of November.

Fans can expect a 100% beef patty, cheese made with Emmental cheese, onions, juicy tomatoes, and a unique smoky flavoured sauce all nested in a freshly toasted bun. And it can be enjoyed with or without bacon.

Without bacon, the Big Tasty will cost £5.29 on its own or £6.89 as a meal. With bacon it will be £5.89 on its own or £7.49 as a meal.

Chicken lovers will also be able to get their hands on our new permanent fixture, McCrispy which contains 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, served with iceberg lettuce, black pepper mayo, and a delicious sesame-topped bun. The McCrispy is £4.99 on its own or £6.49 as a meal.

Pies and sides

The festive pie is coming back to the menu (McDonald's)

McDonald's is re-releasing the Festive Pie, much to the relief of anyone with a sweet tooth. It's a Christmassy take on the food chain's classic hot crispy pie, but instead of apple, it's filled with mincemeat and custard. It's a must-buy for mince pie lovers and at £1.29 it's hard to resist.

Cheese Melt Dippers are also back to tantalise your taste buds - the four breaded camembert bites are served with a tangy tomato dip and cost £2.29. And of course, you can get a share box of 15 for £5.99. These will replace the Nacho Cheese Wedges - which may divide fans of the latter.

McFlurry

Fans can try out a Celebrations McFlurry (McDonald's)

If you're in the mood for something sweet after your meal, for £1.79 you can get your hands on the Celebrations McFlurry which features soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, caramel pieces, Mars chewy pieces, and Twix biscuits, topped with a milk chocolate sauce.

To make room for this line up, McDonald's will be getting rid of the BBQ Bacon Stack, Nacho Cheese Wedges, and the Twirl McFlurry on Tuesday November 22.

The 2022 Festive Menu will be available for six weeks only from November 23.
