McDonald's to launch fresh menu this week with new wrap launch and sweet treat returning

Two brand new items are set to launch at McDonald's UK and Ireland this week, as some favourites are also planning to return to the menu.

The two new products - a Spicy Siracha Chicken Wrap and Double McPlant - will arrive on the McDonald's menu on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. And to add to that, the Aero Chocolate and Aero Peppermint McFlurry will also return to stores across the UK.

The Cheesy Garlic Bites are also heading back to the McDonald's menu, featuring a rich tomato dip and a garlic herb coating.

For the new wrap, it comes with either crispy chicken or grilled, and is all toastily wrapped with spicy sriracha sauce, cucumber, slivered onions and lettuce. The Double McPlant is a bigger version of the original Beyond Meat McPlant, and contains a vegan-friendly special sauce too.

In the returning McFlurries, fans can get Aero chocolate and ice cream mixed with either chocolate or peppermint sauce. These items will stay in the restaurants until the middle of February 2023 - Valentines Day, to be exact (February 14).

The exciting news was posted to a popular Facebook group, with the caption: "New McDonald’s menu out tomorrow Wednesday 4th January!!
