A popular special offer is off the menu for some McDonald's fans, as the burger giant pulled its Wrap of The Day promo for delivery customers.
The McDonald's wraps normally cost £3.49, or £4.99 as part of a meal, but a daily offer decreases the price of a different wrap every day to a budget-friendly £1.99. However, the deal has been axed unless you order it at a restaurant. Customers who order a McDonald's delivery from Uber Eats, Just Eat and the My McDonald’s app can no longer take advantage of the offer, which was introduced in 2011.
But the special price is still available if you order a wrap either for collection at a restaurant via the app, at drive throughs and over the counter.

Wrap fans took to social media to complain about the change, which they only knew about once they tried to order a McDonald's delivery. @ToofastforBec said on Twitter: "That feeling when @McDonalds stops their wrap of the day #yearruined" while @YoshiToMario lamented; "No. Wait. Nah. Surely not. No. It can't be. This isn't happening. It's not a drill. I repeat. NOT a drill. McDonald's no longer do a wrap of the day."
A McDonald’s spokesperson told The Mirror: "We can confirm that we removed Wrap of the Day from delivery on 4 January. In 2023 customers will see more tailored offers through our app and My McDonald's Rewards and experience even more feel good moments as we introduce some new promotions. "We are constantly listening to what our customers want from us to ensure we are always delivering great quality food combined with great value."
The news comes after McDonald's launched promotions available every day this week until Sunday, January 22. Deals include 10% off £10 spend tomorrow and on Saturday and Sunday you can get treats such as a Big Mac, McPlant or McChicken sandwich for £1.99.
