Fans of the famous golden arches are having a field day as McDonald’s added five new items to its menu today.
Following popular demand, the fast-food giant has brought back the Chicken Big Mac, which first debuted last year. Burger lovers will be able to get their hands on it for £4.49, or £6.09 as a meal, which includes chips and a drink. Its recipe is very similar to the original Big Mac, but instead of beef patties, you get chicken.
The restaurant chain has also introduced a new Steakhouse Stack, made up of two beef patties, a slice of Cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce, topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce. It costs £5.39 by itself or £6.99 as a meal.
The Mighty McMuffin, which had won foodies’ hearts when it was released in the winter of 2022, is also back for the next three months. Its ingredients are sausage, egg, cheese, bacon, and ketchup or brown sauce. The Mighty McMuffin will be priced at £4.59 on its own, or £5.99 as part of a meal that includes a coffee or an orange juice and a hash brown.
The sides menu is getting a new addition, too, thanks to Mozzarella Dippers, priced £2.19.
And, just in time for the Easter celebrations, McDonald’s is bringing back the Cadbury Creme Egg and Cadbury Caramel Egg McFlurries, at £1.99 for a regular or £1.49 for a mini.
If you want to get your hands on any of the new menu items, you will want to act fast as they will only be available for a limited time.
McDonald’s has also launched a month-long promotion called Winning Sips, giving customers the chance to win cash prizes, free meals, and limited-edition merchandise including towels and glasses.
To enter, all you have to do is purchase a medium or large soft drink. Similar to the brand’s famous Monopoly game, the drinks will come with peelable stickers.
Meanwhile, to make space for the new menu items, five offerings have been axed. These are the Grand Big Mac, the Grand Big Mac with Bacon, Chilli Cheese Bites, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, and Galaxy Caramel McFlurry.
