McDonald's have sent its fans a warning that they have less than 24 hours to enjoy some current menu items that are set to be axed in a new menu shake-up.
The popular fast-food giant has announced a few changes to their current menu that will come into place from tomorrow, including scrapping their summer menu and bringing back a fan-favourite.
Fans who have been enjoying the exotic Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu have until tomorrow, Wednesday, September 7, to enjoy the summer menu. It means that we will be saying RIP to the Halloumi Fries, Spanish Stack, Chicken Fiesta and Spanish Fruit Punch.
The announcement doesn't come with all bad news, as the global fast-food company has confirmed that tomorrow will also bring the return of their popular Spicy McNuggets.
McDonald's has promised the fan favourite will return with a new recipe that will make them "spicier than before", reports WalesOnline.
Maccies fans will be available to get the spicy nuggets in six pieces for £3.49, as well as larger 12 piece, 20 piece and 40 piece boxes comes with a spicy chilli dip.
There is a catch to the items return, as fans will have a limited time to try them out, as McDonald's have confirmed that they will only be available on the menu until October 18. The popular Spicy McNuggets - first launched back in 2019 - have only returned to the menu handful of times for a limited period.
Another item returning to the menu will be the Big Tasty Burger, which has only made a select few appearances on the menu since being launched back in 2003. The burger is made with British and Irish beef, melted Emmental cheese, topped with tomato, lettuce, slivered onions, and lashings of Big Tasty sauce on a sesame seed bun.
McDonald's has also confirmed that the Mozzarella Dippers and Mars and Twix McFlurry Milkshakes will also be available on the menu tomorrow.
The menu shake-up comes just as the Golden Arches confirmed that their popular McDonald's Monopoly would be making its grand return branches across the country from tomorrow. The giveaway game was launched back in 2005 and works fairly similar to the iconic board game.
Customers can collect game pieces on select orders that can be used to win prizes such as free a free McFlurry, fries or a wrap. The game can also see huge prizes such as a MINI electric car and a £10,000 cash prize.
McDonald's confirmed that this year's version of the game will include the brand new 'double peel' feature, which allows customers to collect game pieces on their order and on the McDonald's app.
