McDonald's fans discover way to get 'secret' foreign menu item in UK

Whenever you go to a different country, it's always eye-opening to sample the McDonald's treats they have on offer, noting how they differ from ours in the UK.

And Maccies lovers are only just realising that you can get some secret menu items in this country, despite the fact the delicious item is not on the actual menu.

One such item is a McFloat, which has been a hit for McDonald's around the world in countries including India, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Similar to a Coke floats, which for those that don't know, is a Coke with a generous helping of ice cream served on top of it - delicious.

Despite the fact it's not officially available in the UK, that doesn't mean you can't order it here.

All you have to do is buy any mini McFlurry for £1.49, without any toppings in it, and a small Coca-Cola Classic, which costs £1.57 - although prices do vary from location to location.

Then you'll need to pop the delicious ice cream on top of the Coke, admiring your handiwork. You can stir the ice cream in as well to make the Coke much thicker and more delicious, tasting like the perfect way to end a Maccies meal.

Many Macccies fans have taken to TikTok to share their hack, encouraging others to try it because it's delicious, with some saying they "desperately need it" in their lives.

"This is fun and delicious", one Maccies fan wrote, describing it as "the perfect summer treat."

"Oh my gosh, I need to do this", another gushed.

Some people pointed out that Coke floats are not a new phenomenon, yet many people didn't realise that you could make your own when you head to McDonald's - making it an even tastier treat than ever before.

"It's very fizzy but 10/10 would recommend it", TikToker Keana Marie shared.

"It's so good", someone gushed whilst stirring their coke float around.
