McDonald's employee explains why pictures of customers are taken at the drive-thru

A McDonald's worker has revealed why customers' pictures are taken at the chain's drive-thru restaurants.

Many may not realise they are being snapped when ordering food on site.

TikTok user Katie, known as @katieeclarkee, however, explained the cameras take a photo to help staff in keeping track of multiple orders.
