McDonald's drive thru in Yate to close today for 'refurbishment'

McDonald Yate McDonalds

A McDonald's drive thru in South Gloucestershire is set to close today (Wednesday, May 4) as refurbishment gets underway. The drive thru in Yate is shut for three weeks to allow for works to address "traffic queues at peak times", it has confirmed.

The fast food chain at Yate Shopping Centre will shut until May 24. Yate Shopping Centre said it is "investing significant capital to improve the efficiency of the drive thru" after experiencing increased demand.

The restaurant and its delivery service will remain open while the drive thru is shut. The car park outside McDonalds and Yate Leisure Centre will also remain open.
