It might only feel like moments ago that McDonald’s made their most recent menu change, but mark November 23 in your diary because CHRISTMAS is COMING. That’s right, the festive menu for 2022 is arriving this month, with the return of some fan favourites McDonald’s lovers will be excited to see back on the menu.
With four new menu items to get your hands on, you could even do a weekly trip to try each one in the run up to December 25.
The ever-popular Big Tasty will be making a welcome return, with a 100% beef patty, Emmental cheese, onions, tomatoes and a unique smoky flavoured sauce all nested in a freshly toasted bun.

But everyone knows the best part of your Christmas dinner is the trimmings – which is why McDonald’s have gone big on all festive pies and sides for 2022.
McDonald’s apple pie has gotten a yuletide upgrade with the return of the Festive Pie - a classic hot crispy pie filled with mincemeat and custard, which is a must-have for any true mince pie lover.
If a cheese board is more your thing, then you won’t be able to resist a portion of oozy Cheese Melt Dippers, with a single portion containing four breaded camembert bites served with a tangy tomato dip. These will also be available in a sharebox of 15, ideal for watching the World Cup with your mates.
Don’t forget to make room for dessert, though. It’s not Christmas without a family box of chocolates, so we’re excited to try out the Celebrations McFlurry, made up of soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars Chewy pieces and Twix biscuits, topped with a milk chocolate sauce.
The 2022 Festive Menu will be hitting restaurants across the UK and Ireland from Wednesday, November 23 for a limited six-weeks only. In the meantime, you can still catch the BBQ Bacon Stack, Nacho Cheese Wedges and Twirl McFlurry until they’re replaced for the holidays.
McDonald's McCafe festive drinks are already available to buy after launching last week., including the new Caramel Waffle Latte. The festive recipe includes a smooth latte, blended with a caramel waffle flavour syrup and topped with delicious caramel cream and caramel sugar dusting.
The Hot Chocolate Deluxe is also back after a successful festive season last year - a silky treat made with a rich, chocolate syrup, topped with a swirl of cream and a chocolatey dusting. What's not to love?
